Walters, a furniture company that primarily serves designers, is collaborating with Los Angeles-based hospitality design firm Avenue Interior Design for the Avenue Sofa, a flexible lounge seating option that can transform to meet the ever fluctuating demands of highly active, social indoor/outdoor environments.
When designing the sofa, Avenue Interior Design and Walters carefully studied the dimensions in order to create a highly modular piece that could be utilized in a variety of spaces in numerous configurations. The tubular aluminum arms are completely removable to instantly transform the sofa configuration into a daybed or chaise. Pair three sofas to get to create an “L-” or “U-” shaped sectional seating group. Furthermore, the Avenue sofa is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
Family-run for nearly a century, Walters continues to embody the art of well-made, luxury home and hospitality furnishings. Walters prides itself on their ability to work with some of the world’s best architects and designers. The modular piece enables an effortless ability to meet your unique vision, whether it be in the comfort of a residence or one of the world’s top hotels.
Avenue Interior Design has become known for its refusal to be defined by any one style, instead opting to apply a fresh, distinctive and exclusive design to each project with consideration to brand, demographic and location. The company has designed hotels across the world, ranging from La Serena Villas in Palm Springs, The Ramble in Denver, and most recently taking part in the Dust to Gold renovation at Vegas’ iconic Palms Casino, to name a few.
