Merritt International has teamed up with Maine-based artist Kate Nelligan to release three collections of melamine tableware.
Inspired by her hometown of Kennebunkport, Maine and her family, Nelligan’s three nautical collections are set to debut at the upcoming International Gift and Home Furnishings Market in Atlanta, the Las Vegas Market and the Chicago Casual Market.
“Our collections for 2020 are especially exciting as we partner with Kate and present her iconic New England and nautical sensibilities,” says Kimberly Plummer, sales and marketing manager for Merritt Designs. “For this season, her work offers color and artistry for table tops with a coastal vibe.”
Headlining the 2020 introductions from Nelligan are the Clamshell, Buoy and Striper collections which all include dinner plates, bowls and serving piece as well as acrylic drinkware
In the Clamshell collection, Merritt uses navy and white striping to create a simplistic nautical look, the Buoy collection incorporates bright bursts of color on a buoy pattern and the Striper collection features striper fish done in blue and white.
